How to play bingo?

Bingo is a game of numbers. Playing bingo improves your speed and accuracy at numbers. Players can learn how to increase their speed and accuracy by playing numbers. Kids can learn numbers by playing bingo. Playing bingo also needs concentration because players need to attentively listen to the numbers being called out and quickly mark them if they appear on their cards. Since the numbers are called out randomly without any gap, players need to concentrate well to carefully hear the numbers called out, search for the number on their card and mark it while simultaneously noting down the next number which is being called.

Bingo cards have the alphabets B, I, N, G and O written horizontally on each card and five rows of numbers below each alphabet. Players need to buy any number of cards they can afford and wait for the host to call out numbers. There are different patterns like diagonal, horizontal, vertical, 'T' shaped, etc in which the numbers will be called out.

The host first announces the pattern which has to be formed and then starts calling out numbers. As a number is called out, the players need to check if it appears in their card in the mentioned pattern. If it does, then the players can mark that number. Simultaneously the next number will be called out and the players need to locate them in their card, check for the pattern and mark it if it matches the pattern. This continues until a player gets all the numbers of a particular pattern. The player shouts bingo and the game stops. A person checks if the pattern and numbers are correct and hands over the prize money to the player.

Online bingo sites also follow the same rule but everything is automated online. Free bingo sites offer players an opportunity to play the game without risking any money.
